Professors Mark Walker and Yi He at the University of New Mexico were awarded an inaugural Partnerships for Research and Education in Chemistry (PREC) grant by the NSF to collaborate with C-GEM. This grant will allow C-GEM to broaden participation of students served by the C-GEM Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP) that aims to provide students without prior research experience an opportunity to work in a lab with accomplished scientists doing science that’s never been done before.
