Welcome to the 2026 cohort of Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP) scholars! This year, we are hosting four scholars across UC Berkeley, Cornell and Yale.
Scott Krajewski (University of Puget Sound) will be mentored by Yiran Zhang (graduate student, Miller Lab).
Helen Ngo (Evergreen Valley College) will be mentored by Helena Robers-Mataric (graduate student, Schepartz Lab).
Cecilia Pascual (University of New Mexico) will be mentored by Meghna Bajaj (graduate student, Alabi Lab).
Diala Rhouli (Fullerton College) will be mentored by Riaz Mowzoon-Mogharrabi (graduate student, Francis Lab).
For the next ten weeks, our SURP scholars will be working with their mentors to answer essential research questions at C-GEM. Scholars will present their findings at the end of the summer.
