Former C-GEM graduate student Dan Brauer awarded MPS-Ascend postdoc fellowship

Congratulations to Dan Brauer (former graduate student, UC Berkeley) who won the NSF Mathematical and Physical Sciences Ascending Postdoctoral Research Fellowship! This fellowship supports postdoctoral researchers in mathematics and physical sciences to broaden participation of historically underrepresented groups in MPS fields.

Rhiju Das and Dave Savage named HHMI Investigators

Congratulations to C-GEM Senior Investigator Rhiju Das and C-GEM Seed Investigator Dave Savage for both being named Howard Hughes Medical Institute Investigators. HHMI Investigators are awarded $9 million over the course of seven years to do research to further the field of biomedical research.
