The NSF Center for Genetically Encoded Materials (C-GEM) is seeking a talented and innovative chemical synthesis coordinator to join our team. Your work will focus on the design and synthesis of complex and stereochemically pure molecules to advance C-GEM’s efforts to expand the chemistry of the proteome. The successful applicant will be a key member of a spectacular collaboration between chemists, biologists, and engineers. C-GEM’s goal is to create fundamentally new forms of chemical matter using the ribosome as a chemical catalyst. This position represents a unique opportunity to apply sophisticated synthetic tools at the forefront of chemical and synthetic biology.
